Off Season
The AL Stengel league is a private league with Scoresheet Sports Canada. It contains 10 teams with owners spreading from British Columbia to Nova Scotia. It has been a private league since 2004 and has an Executive of Chris Greer (Commissioner), Dave Carlson and Brad Young which oversee the running of the league.
In 2005 two teams were adopted by new owners, and in 2003 another two were adopted by new owners, but most of the other teams have been in the league for five or more years. Five of the ownership teams are also from the Michael Mottl Memorial Hockey League, a fantasy hockey league also under the auspices of Scoresheet Sports Canada.
